well developed and maintained visitor area that gives access to a spectacular view. Observation platforms have been built in the edge of
the gorge and part way down the
cliff to give good
views. There is an extensive
picnic area that runs between the
cliff and the
Apsley River. The falls are located where the stream changes direction into
the gorge.
A
suspension bridge spans the river just above the falls to provide access to the opposite side of the river and walking tracks that have been built to provide a different aspect to the falls.
The area contains picnic shelters and open tables plus barbecues and
toilets.
