Hi, this is not Wylie Scarp - That is to the west. (When the Baxter Cliffs go inland again to the west that is Wylie Scarp)
This jump up is near the western end of the Hampton Tableland, which extends from Twilight Cove in the west to Wilson Bluff in the east.

Looking for adventure.

Hmm, OK you have told us what it isn't but it would be more helpful if you could tell us what is the correct name for this scarp on the way to EBO and it can be fixed in a jiffy.

Somebody has already changed the name to just Jump Up.
That's OK, there were a few options, this being one of them.

I changed the name, but is there a more accurate one among the options you mention?

The Jump Up, or Passes occur along the Hampton Tableland quite frequently so I don't think that name should be included.

The road up/down follows the second telegraph line. The old pole at the bottom was at the 157 mile marker from Eucla Telegraph Station.

There is a rockhole called Yarrabie at the base of the pass.

I'd suggest in my favorite order:
Telegraph Pass
Eyre Pass
Yarrabie Pass

So the names are all passes as in Madura Pass where the highway comes on/off the Hampton Tableland. Rather than pick a controversial name, do we know if HEMA or some other map maker has a name for this pass. And is it the correct one? etc This could get convoluted LOL

Yes, all the passes are either called passes or nothing at all.

Eucla Pass
Kuthala Pass (Mundrabilla)
Moodini Pass
Madura Pass

That's all I have Warrie. I cant see anywhere an official name for it.

Too wet to mow my lawn so I shall continue with this quest . Will give EBO a call to see if they know since it is the access into their Observatory. 15 min later. Just phoned and the current caretaker says that the committee calls it just "the Scarp". Maybe that's it. Anybody else able to contribute?

For those who haven’t been there, this is Wylie Scarp.
