Hi there,
Have been searching to no avail so asking here!
We have a Pioneer Prospector camper trailer (hard floor). 2 x kids who have always slept on swags on the hard floor but are now at that inbetween age where too big for that space but not keen for them to be in a separate tent just yet.
A friend suggested a tent to zip on to one of the sides of the camper trailer.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of this or done this before?
I’ve searched the Pioneer site but no add ons that I can see.
Done the general google but not sure if I’m inputting the correct search terms!
Any suggestions welcome.
Thank you!

I have a pioneer argyle hard floor camper,it is roughly 12 years old and came with an awning /roof and 3 canvas walls that attach on passengers side encasing the slide out kitchen and is fully waterproof ,attaches by zipper to the main canvas along the roof line. It is the full length of the camper.

Is that what you are after, ?

Hi Pepper,
Thanks for your reply. No we had that as well but don’t use it as we prefer a pop up gazebo. Ours was over the outdoor ‘living area’ ie the pull out stove and sink.
I was wondering about more a small tent I guess that could be zipped in to one of the other entrances. Something I wouldn’t have thought of but was suggested! Being a hard floor and off the ground I’m not sure how it would work but people are ingenious ?? so someone may have a solution!

I'm not too conversant with that trailer but I've seen a similar setup when I was over East on the Murray.
Chappie was looking at how I had my rollup awning attached to the back of the Ranger and had an under awning attached,
After a bit of discussion, we went and had a look at his setup>
He has a Kings rollout awning the same as me but he'd had a zipper attached to the Camper that attached to the rollout.
With the rollout mounting he had a couple of poles fitted to brackets to hold it up, then it extended out for 3 meters and had an under awning tent attached .
Very similar to mine but attached to his Camper Trailer.

Maybe something along these lines could be worth considering .

Hey Noggins,
That’s great info thank you. It might be a matter of playing around with a few different set ups to see what will work!
Cheers!

This is our RV-3, together with Oztent Caravan Attachment that allows the awning to attach to sail track on canopy edge. The RV-4 or 5 would be a better size for families.

That’s awesome thank you. I just googled and saw they have caravan attachments too. So think that will be our next step, figure out how to link onto ours.
Cheers
