Yep, both links operating today. Was the mob hosting your blog having a maintenance day? The same thing happens when David is doing maintenance on the EO site, the difference is he does it at sparrow fart when most of us are in bed so we don't see the interruption.

Good stuff Cuppa/Mrs"Tea", esp towing on the OCR. Gnarly is a good description of many of those easier rocky bits in the video, what would you call the tougher sections (other than bloody scary)?

Fantastic video and blog. Brings back memories of doing that track in 2000. It was full on! That was the track that all the stamper battery's that you see at Maytown came from Cooktown. It took some of them 6 months to get there! Strongly suggest you read Hector Holthouses' book "River of Gold" for the complete story of the Palmer River Gold rush. Love all your blogs.
