I discovered this cool feature in
ExplorOz Traveller on a recent trip. "Position Range Rings" up to 5 concentric rings can be displayed around your current position. They can be from 250m up to 5klms in distance each.

Did you stop on Greenhill Rd and take the capture the screen shot. The rings are good for instantly seeing relative distances. I once drove a 40 ft coach down Greenhill from the top, very interesting drive with traffic around. Probably won't do it again though.

Oziexplorer has had range rings for many years and its been a more recent addition to Exploroz Travller. It is an absolute necessity IMHO. It gives easy reference to distance on any map where you can vary the scale.
I have found the most useful setting to be one kilometre apart.
