New LPG cylinder valve transition

Apparently there are new safer gas cylinder valves on the way. ( Thanks Kathy from Ultimate Owners )

Thankfully the existing appliance connectors are compatible with the new valve assembly and will still be legal for use with cylinders with up to 25 liters of water, nominally 10kg cylinders , up until the hose or pigtail needs to be replaced. In which case the new connector must be used.

It looks as if the nose has to push the valve open when screwed in , what a great idea
If your hose comes loose the flow of gas stops. I have never had one do this , but can see the merit in its safety

That valve configuration is in Australia , more that likely from USA , they are dual with POL and this outside thing ,although I dont know if they have the shut off valve, I will look next time
