Hi Everyone, our latest vid. So, what do you do when you are in Esperance WA (Cape Le Grande or Cape Arid National Park) and the wind is howling and the beach is not that great? Yes; go inland! Head along the Fisheries Road past Condingup Tavern (Great Meals) fuel up and experience part of the Balladonia Track and camp out at Mt Ragged.
Plenty of wildflowers to be seen and an excellent climb up Mt Ragged with amazing panoramic views.
Cheers Mike and Kendra

(For those interstate; put this one on the bucket list- keep safe.)

I'll watch the video - thank you.

We took the Balladonia Track to get from Balladonia to Cape le Grand - enjoyed the route. We didn't climb Mt Ragged (next time...). Total other vehicles seen from Balladonia to Condingup - none at all! We did see some camels though.

Many people never heard of Balladonia. Those in the know realise it’s a short cut if you coming across from SA to Esperance.

Track was very rough, and actually closed because of bushfires last time we were there. Did the Old Telegraph track which was a hoot.

Cheers

Brought back memories of travelling from Balladonia to Israelite bay back in 2013.

Great country out there. It was just wet enough to be interesting, any more could have been trouble.

Thanks.
