Mullewa to Alana ( Kalbari turn off)

Hi all
Heading off from Perth to Denham tomorrow and looking for an alternative route to the usual Brand/ Indian Ocean Drive and NWC Highway.

Was thinking heading up through Mingenew then Mullewa.
From there I am looking for back roads up to possibly Ajana (the turn off to Kalbarri).
I am driving a 200 Series and want to get to Denham in the day. So say 11 hours duration.
Don’t want anything rough but gravel and good sand is fine.
Don’t want to do the Mullewa /Murchison Station road and Butchers Track as I plan to save that for another day.
All suggestions welcomed.

Once you leave Mullewa you can head to Geraldton then turn off at Tenindewa to go to Yuna then just out of Yuna go through to Binnu coming out just south of Kalbarri turnoff.it is all bitumen.

HI Peter , thanks for map. Yes the blue route looks like the one I am after. It’s nice to take an alternative and I imagine the pastures and wild flowers will be starting to peak.

Have just arrived in Denham
Wild flowers and crops were looking in their prime. Hope the farmers get a good price for them,
