It's probably fat finger or typo syndrome, Phil. When camps such as this are created in the EO Places system with Traveller, the creator must choose between "Camp-free" and "Camp - fee" in the pick list which look similar and are adjacent. Easy to tap the wrong one.

If you are 100% sure it should be a Free camp please confirm it here. It is simple for EO Places admins to fix.

We did drop in there for a look but it was a couple of years ago. At that time the nearest paid camping was actually at Dunmarra, almost 10Km South. Might be a while before we can get down that way to verify whether it may now be fenced off as I just looked and it no longer appears in Wikicamps which is where I first saw it mentioned.

If still the same then go up to the right of the fence and gate a couple of hundred metres and turn right to a relatively cleared large area. Could be a issue if wet but what we saw was readily accessible to most vehicles.
