Coil sprung patrol GVM upgrade?

Hi all,

I'm interested in purchasing a patrol station wagon (2008 model) and was curious if anyone knew of a GVM upgrade available for this model?

I know there is one available for the rear-leaf models.

think you will find it difficult , a mate of mine had his coil cab ute done a month ago
an found not many are keen on coil spring upgrades .his was done in Shepparton

Yes, my 4.8 was done a few months ago, ATOC in Lilydale Melbourne. Many other firms do the wagon also, google will be your friend.

Keep an eye on the coil spring retainer mounts on the chassis
They are known to crack on the patrols in the rear when frequently driven with a decent load on.
There are bracing kits you can buy on the market from superior engineering or similar companies

Mountainman, is part of the GVM upgrade, has to be the welded type, not the bolt on type.

John is spot on
There are several ways & there is also a kit to beef up the chassis all have to be welded on
It was common to get the cracking

My dual cab chassis belt and braces, ATOC welded in coil tower brace, lower circled bit, CSE coil tower brace, upper circled bit, PSR chassis fishplates welded along chassis rails also.
