Following some different advice on here over the last couple of days and a pop up on Facebook on this subject prompted me to paste it here

Some great free advertising and not a lot of substance.... I think the intended info is directed to the wrong audience. Most people on this site i would say, are up to speed on survival. Michael

Unfortunately there was a thread that someone suggested to walk away from the vehicle, which in my opinion, goes against all advice by the professional agencies.
I thought this may provide some reinforcement about the necessity to stay with the vehicle which I believe can never be stated enough.

Cookie, i thought maybe it was some sort of spam, I think most here know to stay with the vehicle. Its been hammered into us for decades but sadly some still walk away. Facebook is irrelevant, it has passed its peak and on the decline! Michael

Read the article about the couple. Used common sense and knew to stay with vehicle. They also told family where they were going and what they were up to..
