Hi all
In amongst my old notes I have found reference to a possible overnight stop at Montkeleary Ck on the Cordillo Downs Rd. The map ref I have is -26.798 140.920395. Does anyone know whether this is still ok or if there is something else nearby - to break the journey from Innamincka to Birdsville/Windorah?
cheers

Hi Suitcase,

Travelled through there in September. For our overnight between Bridsville and Innamincka, we stayed at -26.728 140.682. It is only about 5 or 6 kms E of Cordillo Downs station on the N sid e of the Cordillo Downs Rd.

Thanks Barry. I’m looking for somewhere between Haddon Corner and Innamincka but that might be an excuse to look at the woolshed.
Cheers

Hi Barry
Just checking that sport on Google maps. Were you on the eastern side of the creek bed (away from Cordillo Downs)?
cheers

Yes Suitcase,
Just outside of the Cordillo Downs "no Camping" area to the East of the station.
Very quiet spot, no-one else there. Only had one vehicle pass by on the road.
