A few people have told me the same, its a river crossing in a different spot but I've been there many times, its one of my favorite spots but no one can actually tell me where. Michael

Hi Mike.....UM ...ER !… Have you seen the rock that came down, Yep real men with gold fever would have done something, But a D10 cat Dozer would do better..lol… to much involved these days ,for a while i thought that's it! never to open again,there is a way around it but you would need a landrover…..LOL.

Gday Axle, Yes i have been stopped by it..... I guess in the old days they would dig under it and let head over the side of the road, and rebuild the road. Nothing was impossible back a while, just sheer determination. By the way Axle, if you intend to help with your Landrover, you better take another one for spares! :)) Michael

I was up there a month ago, there's no rock on the road, about half the road has sheared off and gone over the cliff. They've graded a mound of dirt to stop any would be daredevils from trying to squeeze through, although a bike would fit. To repair it they would have to carve a fair bit out of the cliff face on the side of the road a decent distance either side of the slip because there's nothing left to rebuild the existing road on. It's a hairy bit of track and you'd have to be concerned about further slips in the future.
