I am wondering if anyone attending the ceremony at
Ooldea on the 17/10/17 is thinking of travelling on the access track from the Stuart hwy. via
Tarcoola . There are different versions on the legalities and whether you should or shouldn't do it. I've wanted to travel this part of the track for years and thought this would be a perfect time.

The track will be closed by ARTC. It will be fenced off with guards. Maybe closed forever.

I don't know how I missed that thread. Thanks Boobook for the link. Still a lot of debate though on the subject. I'm planning on attending the ceremony and then heading to
Maralinga to do the tour with Robin

There was supposed to be another email sent around to those who had registered, after they had the meeting onsite at
Ooldea on the 12th Did anyone get that??

I’ve been laid up in bed for the last 3 weeks and couldn’t make it. I’m very disappointed. I will get over there next year and also do the tour of
Maralinga when the weather cools a bit.
