We picked up our Complete Campsite Exodus 14 last month and have just arrived home from a shakedown trip along the Murray. Overall the camper has every thing you could need. Our problem however was that we were invaded by a mouse. Just one, but it was able to access all storage bays as well as the interior living space. Has anyone delt with a similar problem? What is the solution? The manufactures don't seem to be able to help. Screening all areas is problematic.

Hi John,
Camphor or moth balls spread in affected areas will deter the little buggers.

Hi John
Picked one up at Streaky Bay recently. Was half way through eating a bread roll and wondering why the inside was so hollow then saw the small hole in the packaging and realised a mouse had eaten out the inside of the bun.
Also found a couple of olive pips inside my wife's sneakers and realised he had built a nest in them, I kept that a secret from her for fear of never going camper trailering again.

From then on ALL food was stored in Tupperware ware type containers and he soon disappeared. Bit of a pain though.

We also always clear out all food stuffs, packets, sauces everything when the camper is parked up at home. Also keeps the ants away.
Cheers Craig

Hi Craig,
Don't know if it's just a problem with the Complete Campsite camper but this bloke got into the sleeping area and ate a tea-towle. Saves me from wiping up the dishes!

Sounds suspiciously to me like an excuse to dodge the washing up :)

If you can find a flute you could perhaps try a blowing a slow blues tune and hope they follow you to the banks of the river. I believe it has worked before. Just saying ...
