Looking to see who else is heading west to Kilcowera.
I aim to leave Chinchilla on the Thursday morning and head west.
Looking to get to just west of Charleville on the Thursday (bush camp). Continue west to Quilpie on Friday, then head south to Thargomindah, stopping somewhere in this section for another bush camp. Saturday get to Thargomindah in the morning to fuel up and get the last minute items for the Gathering, then roll onto Kilcowera.
Not looking to set land speed records to get there (I could get there in 1 day if I needed to) but to also smell the roses on the way. I aim to Stop at Mitchell Bakery (my favourite bakery in SW Qld) for Lunch on day 1 (approx. 270km west of Chinchilla).
